I think Hot Wheels cars are worse.

They suck for sure but you have not experienced the full effect until you have stepped on a Teenage Mutant Ninja "Shredder" character.

Nothing compared to that "snapping" sound when maneuvering around toys on the floor in the dark and you ram your pinkie toe into the leg of a couch/table/chair. You hear the "snap" and then the vortex of pain as the body communicates the injury at the speed of light from toe to brain to recognition. You know it is broken, it immediately starts to discolor/swell due to the blood uayaflow into the soft tissues, and you are screwed because it is a pinky toe. We do nada for them in the ER except shake our heads and buddy tape it to the 4th toe for support. Gonna hurt for a few weeks with each step and...you get ti buy a replacement toy for the one you destroyed in anger when you lashed out at it because it caused you to get injured in the first place.

Like kicking the metal bed frame in the dark trying to get around the room!

I kept with the theme of kids toys but if you want an intense pain........



Hot welding material popping perfectly in the opening of your glove and some how in the process of removing your glove it landed on top of your thumbnail, then for some reason it became 10x harder to get the glove off. While the seconds counted down while removing the glove, the hot material burned through your nail.......

Those of us with grown children are just waiting for them to have children of their own, then the gifts to the grandchildren begin. Payback baby, payback..........

A very good friend of mine is in a wheelchair due to a MX crash. Right after his injury I redid his bathroom and kitchen and such so he could wheel around ok. He rolled into his bathroom one day and starts laughing. He hollers at me to come in there I see blood all over the floor.
Bill looks at me and down at his right foot. He had caught the toenail of his big toe under the cabinet and peeled it completely off. He looks at me and says through his laughter: "Shit man, that looks like it really hurts".
I just about dropped like a rock.

But as a fat bastard, I can say that stepping on damn near ANYTHING barefoot hurts like hell.

In our house, it's shards of bone from the dogs that they leave everywhere. I shuffle if I have to walk in the house in the dark.
