Had a buddy who was always a little off He got the holes in his ears up to 2 inches. He took out the hoops and didn't like his hanging flapping ear lobes so he took a pair of scissors and cut off the bottom of his ears. Clipped something major in one of his ears and had to go to the VA to get it stitched up.

i had my ears guaged (just haaaad to be a rebel) they were 5/8" it took about 15 years but there basicly healed now our bodies are amazing

Really, 15 years, so the ear lobe eventually closes. The guy I saw must have had an inch or bigger, and I've seen even bigger on other people.
