Default The Green Mill Sportsman Club in Eirie, CO

Is anyone here a member of the The Green Mill Sportsman Club in Eirie, CO? If so, could you please tell me how would one go about becoming a member?

I have heard that this club is by "invitation" only and their website has little information about becoming a member (other than saying that they are not currently taking new applicants).

Any info will be greatly appriciated!

If the Green Mill is too exclusive, you may want to look into the Weld County Fish and Wildlife range. Check www.wcfw.org for details. About 20 miles northeast of Greeley. Great place to exercise your AR - covered shooting positions, showers, rv hookups, 25, 50, 100 and 200 yd. rifle/pistol ranges, trap, skeet, sporting clays and archery.
The membership is limited to 1200. The attrition rate is approx. 10%/year.
Get your app in early in the year if interested, as orientation is only held in Jan and Feb. for new members. Unfortunately, any applications turned in now will probably not make the cut until '09.

Thanks for the "Heads Up" Axle! I was hoping to find something a bit closer to Longmont but I will check out the range you recommended.

I sent an email to the people of Green Mills and they replied affirming that, in order to get a name in the mebership waiting list, the person had to be invited by a current member of the range. I guess they are trying to make sure that their members are trustworthy and dependable and, the best way to make sure of this is to have a known member vouch for the new member. I suppose my next step is finding someone who is currently a member of this range and informing them of my interest in becoming a member of Green Mills.
