    I didn't initially trust the db reduction... Electronic ear pro is seeing if they 'activate' during shooting. I'm deaf enough, and the guy shooting an AR unsuppressed next to me was really rude (because he was shooting unsuppressed).

    i got to play with suppressed rifles in A'stan, and that sealed the deal.

    What suppressor is that? What ammo were you using?

    its a Gemtech trek. Ammo was m855 62gr green tip. That day I was able to keep it in about 2.5 moa or so. (Not that string that I was firing in the video)

    Today I shot with 55gr bulk stuff, and I was getting consistent hits on a 12" plate at 400 yards or so.

    Sorry to necro-post (my own thread, even!), but here's my question:

    on a direct thread can, should you still use a shim/crush washer to protect the shoulder of the barrel?

    I don't think timing is required, I just don't know.
    Just doing what I can to stay on this side of the dirt.
