Default Gotta love Armslist (sarcasm fully intended)

So I did a sale/trade today, picked up a Smith and Wesson 36-6 .38 today in the trade. Turned around and sold it to a "collector" on Armslist buying Smith revolvers.

Not long after the sale, I get an email from Armslist stating that I had responded to a listing flagged as a scam.

Yup, you guessed it. Was to the a-hole that bought the revolver....for less than half the price. He knew exactly what I had and offered me crap for it. Is it my fault? Absolutely as I should have done more research then I had. Lesson learned.... yeah, don't trust shitheads on Armslist. First time I got burned in many trades/sales. Also will be the last time.

Just came here to vent my frustration. LOL

^^^ Link to the gun on Armslist that I sold.

    Time to go get drunk!

I am a little confused about what happened. But there is no need to explain, I purposefully avoid even looking on Armslist. It is a waste of time and there are so many other places to get what you want or sell what you want. Like here for instance. You will get about the same price here as anywhere else and it is generally a good group of guys. Lesson learned.

Oh I fully intend to do any future trading/selling on here. But I currently can't as a probationary member. Like I said, lesson learned to do more research ahead of time.

Just so you know... You didn't get scammed... You fucked yourself. It's different. A scam would be if he cheated you out of it or took it from you unwillingly. You willingly sold your gun for less than it was worth. That's your fault. Not his.

Why don't you push him down and call him "fat" while you're at it JM? Way to kick a guy while he's down eh?

    Huh?!?

JM is exactly right. Seems to me a bit of direct and unvarnished truth is a whole lot better than coddling a victim mentality. JM was not insulting IMO - just direct. OP needs to take it onboard and look at his role in it - not label others as scammers for his own choices.
