I have a Ka-Bar and it's the sh*t! I love that knife- and it added a bit of intimidation factor while working among locals while I was in Afghanistan.

Sykes-Fairbain. Still the standard for edged weapon fighting.

So, I finally decided what I wanted. I was inspired by this piece of advice....

But it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. But it lead me to looking at the M3 trench knife which I found to be similar. But real ones are more than I wanted to spend and even newer reproductions are around $70.

Then I stumbled across another design that I liked. Although reviews were somewhat mixed, I liked the style and the fact that it was made out of a spring steel that should hold up well to abuse. The fact that I found it on sale for around $21 was a huge plus too. I ordered it the other day and should have it in a few days.

What did I end up with?

    A Glock 78.

    Thanks, everyone.

Cold Steel really offers a great value in ALL types of blades. From hunting to fighting to zombie destruction, take a look at their Special Projects catalogue for some great deals. With the lower prices. You won't be afraid to actually use and abuse the thing.
