    Default walmart vs PSA

Ok so i've been looking at a rifle to start a small build since i havn't built one from scratch and dont want to get in over my head, also since I don't have all the tools yet. I am not doing a full build but would like to add some stuff, change some stuff, and generally just get to know the rifle inside and out. that way when I want to build one from scratch i have something to compare it to later.

I was looking at the Sig M400 Enhanced or a PSA rifle. I have a P226 and the sig seems well made but I guess I just am conflicted since the AR is now sold at walmart and wonder if that means the quality would suffer. In the same price point was the Pal state arm versions as well. I acctually like the magpul furniture on the sig and was going to go with that stuff anyway ssssooooo is it a good platform to start on or should I stay away from it and bump the pricepoint to get something better to start with like a colt or .....

opinions / thoughts / help for a new guy on the sig vs the psa. I have an AR10 currently that the wife has taken possetion of so this one will be for me
