    Default Your GM report

Since I needed boots anyway, I did venture out, Ended up at GM, since SW didn't have many boots in My size. Anyway, wandered over to the guns, They still have the hacked together mini-14, still the same price as the new ones. Must be getting close to a year that it's been there. They also still have the M44 for $150

Today though, they had one That was really distressing, M1A, The stock looked like the beavers had used it as a chew toy. I'd mention the rear sight but, there wasn't one. And, the front sight looked bent. Price on sticker; $1599

The new stuff, decent selection of AR's The did have a Colt for $1599, Armalite for $1399, S&W's, Bushies, and a couple of DPMS's For the most part, $10-200 more than the same ones at SW. Did call the salesmen on it, He said, and I quote, "If You bring us proof of the price, We'll match it. It has to be the same sku number though" Thought to Myself, if I went over there to get the proof, Wouldn't I just go ahead and buy it there?

They also had a Sig 556, So, I had to fondle it a little, I will reserve final judgement untill after I get the chance to shoot one. Let Me say this though, The Swiss must have really long fingers, I couldn't reach the mag release from the shooting postion, Reminded Me of the CETME. Yes, it was that Bad.

Bass pro has a good selection of wide sizes. They have the same crackheads in the gun department though...

    Sorrel's
Bass Pro has 'em, (others might too)
    everything else is a copy

I've removed snow (shovel, blower, plow) commercially since the early 90's (you know, back when it used to snow) and when you are out in the snow shovelling for 12 to 15 hours at a time and your feet get wet or cold, it's over, you're cold. It doesn't happen with sorrel's (and I only buy the mid-grade ones, you might go higher grade if you go into the mountains)

Hard as hell to wear out, and the insert is replaceable. Good traction and warmth.
    Trust me.
