    Default BEER, WINE for Thanksgiving Dinner ??

    I want ranger ipa for dinner she wants wine. off to the store what are you having?

    I actually do not drink, never have, so I will be having coffee or some form of soda, but the wife will be having some sort of wine I'm sure.

    Oldest kid got some Mead, he makes a good hot spiced mead drink, we have some Zinfandel and I may cart my 40 Creek over there. BIL has vino and beer.

    Would like to know about that mead drink .We made some mead and added some clove"a little to much" does he add Cinnamon??

    I brought three bottles up from my stash. A 2001 Merlot, a 2003 Syrah and a 2005 Pinot Noir.

    Wife wants to know why we have to drink that old stuff, don't we have any fresh wine?

    As far as wine, a Riesling is a good choice. I prefer my wine a little sweeter and not as dry.
