The letter she wrote just seems to mirror what the DP editiorial staff believes. She can get away calling people names where the staff might have to actually pay for it in ad revenue or subscriptions.

Instead of education of correct firearm use and upholding our rights more scare tactics/pressuring our local officials to think "their way" and to ban the use of tools to keep our families safe. I'm sure it's nice living in a gated aspen community with big locks but sadly not everyone's so lucky.

So I guess the real question is, if gun owners are as paranoid/scared/crazy/etc as she says we are, why are there any anti-gun people left alive?

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.

Every time a raccoon knocks over my trash cans, I unload every gun I own through the garage door without even bothering to look outside.

Please don't post stuff like that.
I know you are joking; but please remember, they are watching.

I just use the M18A1s I bought on Craig's List for raccoons. Rough on the neighbors cats though...well and the paint on the car, but eh I hate picking up overturned trash cans.

Too bad it IS still the wild west...and east...and north....and south. If anything our society is more dangerous now than it has ever been. If there has ever been a time to pack a gun its now.

This is what you get when an individual is disconnected from reality and they have the ability to form cognitive sentences.
They sit in their little self acclaimed palaces insulated from the ugliness of the world we live in today.
They have never had to worry where their next meal is coming from or what it is like to juggle their bills.
They have never had to deal with a human that has been victimized by the brutality of another human.
They have never had to fight for what they believe in or for their own survival.
They sit at their fine desk in their study and proclaim their knowledge and wisdom is superior to anyone else.
They believe that they know what is best for all of us.
Their narrcissism and arrogance convinces them they are right and all others are wrong.

    They know nothing of life.
