I'd be worried more about the slop in the slide, and the spring ware over the barrel ware. If the slide is tight side to side, and the action is stiff, GTG! IMHO.

Everybody has missed the obvious- round count is not nearly as critical as the care the item has received.
Just as when purchasing a used car, overall condition is a pretty good indicator of the use it has seen.
Would you rather purchase an item that has seen 250k rounds and has been maintained well or something that has only had 100 rounds but looks like it was subjected to the "Gun Nuts" torture test?

If it was a police trade in I become skeptical. If it was used for competition and it was retired or getting upgraded, I get skeptical. other than that, I don't worry about it too much! I am more concerned about revolvers than anything.
