    Got a message from a recruiter I've talked to before, wondering if anyone is interested, I can forward on the details to you:

    The role is for an IT Manager in the Denver, CO area. The company wants someone who is very hands on where you can manage a team as well as perform task solely such as SQL. The company is a local mutual fund with around 65 employees. The company has a small IT department with 3 employees. The director is retiring soon and would like to hire someone who he would eventually promote to the Director role. The company has great benefits with all healthcare cost covered by the company. Everyone in the IT department loves the company and has been with them for over 5 years. If you have a financial background that is a plus.

    POSITION: Manufacturing Supervisor (two positions)
    LOCATION: Montbello, CO (Denver Area)
    SALARY: $55-70K + Bonus

    Generic:
    Lead team of hourly associates with varying levels of experience and education. Responsible for people and team development, quality performance, cost, service and safety.     My company (in DTC) has an opening for a Vendor Risk and Security Assessment Analyst. Here are the req's; send me a PM if you're interested and I can get your resume in the right hands:

    Essential Functions:
    Understand dynamic and complex business objectives and identify information security risks related to the use of 3rdparty vendors and information sharing. Develop an understanding of vendors Information Security control framework using an established evaluation process.

    • Ensure vendor risk management process is kept up to date with internal and external requirements including effective communications of these requirements to external vendors while maintaining our Information Security requirements
    • Provide risk-based analysis reports and recommendations to Senior Leadership, Information Security, Internal Audit and Compliance
    • Maintain collaborative relationships with vendor contacts to ensure and promote effective communication, vendor performance and ongoing relationships
    • Work closely with internal business stakeholders to establish risk, provide effective reporting of vendor performance via established effective Service Level Agreement (SLA), auditing and documenting key controls required to meet regulatory standards
    • Execute onsite reviews of critical vendors as required per established Information Security audit guidelines at least annually to ensure adequate regulatory controls are implemented


    Education/Skills/Requirements:


    • 3+ years of risk assessments, vendor management and or information security governance
    • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
    • Desired knowledge of information security risks and control frameworks
    • Knowledge of PCI-DSS, GLBA, HIPPA, and SOC 1 and SOC 2 - preferred
    • CISA, CIA, or CISSP certification preferred
    • Professional skepticism to ensure evidence is sufficient when assessing control frameworks
    • Spirit of service focus with the ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritize responsibilities to meet dynamic business needs
    • Excellent communication and internal Business Relationship skills
    • Strong interpersonal “team player” with the ability to work independently as needed
    • Possess advanced interviewing skills to tailor the types of questions based on responses provided by 3rd parties
    • Strong ability to persuade, convince and influence others through collaboration
    • Ability to work and effectively prioritize in a highly dynamic work environment
    • Must pass a successful background, credit and drug check
    • Ability to travel 10-30% annually

    Not exactly career work. But those looking either for part time or full time. I know HSS is hiring a fair bit right now. My hospital in Lafayette in particular has at least one opening on each shift. (Day/Swing/Night) Maybe ideal for someones kid in College, good place for experience if interested in LEO imo. (Dealing with some pretty disgusting people at times, learning to engage verbally to handle people but also getting hands on. If you can't handle something like this, sure lets you know you won't like EMS/Police) Can PM for questions. (I'm not a recruiter, but can answer some questions and point the path if intersted.)

    Looking for a food service technician, mostly to work on coffee and Espresso equipment.
    Needs to have some experience with plumbing, electrical, be mechanically inclined.
    Lots of driving to the mountains etc...
    Needs to pass drug screening, have a good driving record, be able to lift 150#.
    Full time, health, Dental, Vacation, Profit sharing.
    Good solid job, I have been there for 12 years.
    Pay depends on experience.

    After just ending a ten year career (on great terms), to return to school full time this summer, I'm looking for something relatively low stress to keep me busy until then. I'm looking to make a minimum of $1,500 a month but won't turn away more. Something with a flexible schedule would be nice, and the employer needs to be okay with me leaving for school in June.

    The bulk of my experience is in corrections, but I've also got general labor skills, customer service skills, and although I've got no formal training I'm very mechanically inclined. Either way I'm a quick learner and very motivated.

    Maybe you've got a business or shop you could use an extra broom pusher in for a few months? Willing to travel within the metro area. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
