My miniature dachshund dreams about eating carrots. As much as she freaks out (in a good way) about them when she's awake, that's gotta be what she's up to while sleeping.
I am sure our dachshunds are all about the rabbits/squirrels and cats. Even the oldest one (17) that is blind still barks and has the paws going 90 to nothing when he sleeps. And skunks. I forgot about skunks. Being sprayed does not faze them, still a dead skunk.

Gotta be Squirrels!! My Dobie also dreams about sirens and wailing at them at like 2am! Man that is a rude wake up call.
