Field and Stream Auction

Did anyone get a chance to attend the auction on Saturday? I was there and had a great time. Didn't buy anything.....but I sure wanted too.

Never heard anything about it. What sort of items did they have?

I browsed it online on Friday, the pre auction bids put the firearms at or near normal used price plus 17% (for online bidders) didn't look worth it to me. Some of the mounts might have been worth it though. Not a lot of bids online. Did they go for cheap?

Firearms, game mounts (domestic and exotic), nazi mem., ammo/reloading stuff, I think they're was some fishing rods too. I think it was some gun shop or small sporting store that closed up from Raton, NM. I would have posted in buyer intel but like I said above, the pre-auction internet bids put prices higher than what I thought it was worth (except for a few of the game mounts). Assuming when the live auction started they'd most certainly go up.

Yeah some of the things were a little pricey. That 17% online was a tough one to swallow. For me it was fun to just see all the different pieces.
