    Default beretta issue

Not an issue now, but before xmas it will be one...

    A390 vs A391 vs al400

I have the 390, dad has the 391extrema2. The extrema2 is just heavy for the hold man (70years young) and wants to go to a lighter 12ga. I recommended we get him a 390, but holy crap batman, talk about not finding a used silver mallard. I found a couple gold mallards but they want 1200$ for a 600$ gun. Anyone have info on the al400? Anyone shoot one? This is not a beretta vs shotgunmakerx thread...just beretta vs beretta.

We might throw in a goose hunt if you have an al400 that can be used in the blind...

I have a few 390's, a couple of Silver Mallards and a Sport. Also have some of the A400's. I have the light version and the Action version. There is no comparison in weight and how they feel. I was going to sell one of my Silver Mallards, just haven't gotten around to it. As far as the A400, my wife has put 1000 or 2 rounds through hers shooting sporting clays with flawless results. I have one with the 26" and one with the 28" barrels. I have not shot any 3" through them yet, but with that kick off stock there is almost no recoil. Shoot me a pm if you want to come out and finger them side by side, probably could throw some clays for him if needed. I am a Beretta fan, not a freak, haven't had any issues with any of them and we shoot a lot.
    Thanks for looking here.
