stuck in jury duty
Any ideas on how to pass the time? I haven't been selected yet but if I do I won't be able to play on my phone.

I just had it the other day. I was the last person cut from the jury. Still took about 4 hours though. Did you get selected to be a juror?
I didn't. They wasted my morning and I didn't get to do my civic duty. They never cover that in those intro videos.

Had JD last year, made it all the way until the DA & Defense Attorney started questioning the potential jurors.
Something about my opinions on owning firearms got me booted.

I got dismissed once when they found out my wife worked for the district attorney's office. Not quite sure why that disqualified me.

They didn't get to use my great skills for dispensing justice. Maybe in 5 years when they give me another one I will get to do my civic duty.
