more advanced than CCW pistol class after the holidays?

I'm looking for a defensive pistol class to take after the holidays all settle down. I've taken my CCW class, and watched alot of youtube videos, but that's it. Considering that my pistol is the weapon that I am most likely to use for defense, I need more training on it and my trigger time on my new CCW pistol is basically non-existant (less than 100 rounds!!!). There are alot of firearm instructors around the CoS area, but I'm looking for suggestions. I have a pretty limited budget, and would like the class to be around 1000 rounds max. .45 ACP ain't cheap!

P.S. anybody know of some inexpensive brass cased .45 to use for this class? Is steel cased ammo THAT bad for a gun like an XDm?
