    Default Vintage Sarcen Door Latch

Where to find them? Seems the places I used to know that carried this kind of stuff are now closed. Resource is in the middle of renovating the buildings and have gotten rid of most of their stuff.

The bottom of the latch has worn away to the point it is getting stuck behind the plate. All my attempts at fixing it have failed.

I might have one. I'll rummage around in the basement tomorrow. If I have one, you're welcome to it.

There are several antique stores on South Broadway that have all sorts of vintage door latches and other hardware.

Sorry for the delay. I found two. The first is an exterior mount, for a utility door:

The other one is still in an old spare door. Does it look right?:

shoot me a pm if you want me to remove the mechanism.

I thought it looked familiar. I even have the key for it. I see them all the time at garage sales up here, Those krauts didn't let go of anything. I'll ask my guy tomorrow if he has any in his scrap bins.
