    The title of this thread sums it up. More people are concerned that the shooter was white and the kids in the car were black.
    It makes no damn difference, but the race of a victim in contrast to the perpetrator is all anyone cares about.

    Either way, the guy was way in the wrong on this one. I'd like to know exactly when he told police he thought he saw a gun. I'm betting it was after the realization of what he did.

    Can't speak for anyone else but I meant as opposed to leaving the scene, staying at a motel and having to be tracked down. You have to watch those "unarmedi kids" sometimes they have guns.

    If someone is annoying you and you can leave...

    You can do everything right and still be wrong.

    The comment about law enforcement being the only people who should have guns outside the home is laughably ironic. If the shooting had involved a police officer, this statement would never have been made.

    Making bad decisions has consequences. 20 years in prison is one possible consequence.
