Default Congress looking at doing away with $1 bills

I know at least one group who will be opposed to this move...strippers! Now the gang-bangers won't make it rain in the club, they can make it hail

People complain about this kind of thing, but in reality the current $1 bill only has the buying power of 6 cents (compared to the first Federal Reserve $1 bills issued) ... so replacing it with a coin really isn't that big a deal.

I wish they would. I kinda liked having 1 mark and 5 mark coins back when I was stationed over there. But like I said, there reason they will not do that is the FED existence relies on the fact that dollars are paper currency. This is why the US mint only coins the small stuff. But hey, maybe it will get people to discuss the unconstitutional FED in the mainstream.
