Say, now there's an idea! And $60 a bottle? Jesus..... I'm really becoming a COB in my old age, I started to get a bottle of Tanqueray gin a few weeks ago and passed because it was $21.99. Like I said, I rarely drink at all. A 6-pack of beer will last me 2-3 months, if nobody helps me with it. And that's after using two cans to smoke chickens with.
There's a lot more of us ugly mf'ers out here than there are of you pretty people!

It's all shits and giggles until someone giggles and shits.....
To be fair, Stranahan's is less than $60 but still to rich for my blood....

As they say in Scotland, it's just whisky ...
I have a bottle of this for special occasions
... and these for general use ...

... but I'll confess to having a bottle of this around for when I'm feeling whimsical ...
Yeah, I know, the latter would need be called Canadian whisky, not just "whisky", in Scotland ...
Well now, just tried the Bird Dog Whiskey (I think it was mentioned in one of the NRA magazines recently)
We have the Blackberry-= I think it's liquid candy, but I'm too dizzy to go and double-check...
I don't get flavored whiskeys. Then again, I didn't get flavored vodkas or chili beer.
Personally, Stranahans isn't even on the list. Don't care for the taste or the price. It is still made in CO but the family sold the company to a NY firm several years ago.
Take a look at the names in the Buffalo Trace fold. Hard to go wrong with any of them.

Sazerac is next on the list. Still on the fence about rye v.s. wheat.
