The prices must have really jumped up on them. They used to be $7-$9 cigars.

Maybe you got a special one or something. I know they were more than I remembered the last time I wanted one. Could just be that Smoker Friendly as well. That's where I usually go as well.

Maybe, we always drink a few beers afterwork on fridays in our employee parking lot, i run across the street normally and get a couple. i might have to start buying online then.
Basil Hayden's is the shiznit.
I've also been digging the Ri1 lately. Yeah, I know, it's a Jim Beam product but just the same it's pretty good rye.
And every cigar will be cheaper online than at a store. Nothing wrong with a storefront as a place to put your feet up and smoke your purchase with a book for a few hours, but one way is definitely cheaper than the other.
I've never seen an acid over 8 but we do have havana manor in Ltown. I'm going to be truthful and admit I normally drink canadian mist. Even when I get a bonus or a big commission check I still drink canadian mist. Sometimes I will "splurge" for a 1.75 @ costco for 47 bucks or a 750 of stranahans... But my goto liquor in the winter is canadian mist and coke.
I don't get the attraction to Stranahan's. I think it's one of the harshest whiskeys I've ever tasted. And at $50+ per bottle? Forget it. I bought a bottle, had one shot and gave it away.
I stick to Buffalo Trace and Bulleit.

Wow. There are so many. As a general mixing beverage I prefer Jack Daniels and it is great for just sipping, Jefferson's Reserve is excellent for sipping and has some initial bite with a sweet orange finish I like very much. I like scotches for drinking straight (over ice or with water) and single malts are my favorites because of their distinctiveness in flavor over blends. They are my preferred drink with cigars. I would suggest that you do a little research on the various regions because there are wide differences in taste from region to region. 12 years or older tend to be smoother. Most will be in the $45 to $75 range.
My experience is that any whiskey that comes in a "Wine" bottle ain't worth the time.
