We happened to find a few of these before they skyrocketed in price. Sometimes one realizes a good thing only after it's gone... At least we still have one left. The hand written label is for the benefit of a certain person/guest who happens to dip into interesting bottles left around. Click image for larger version.

I like Templeton Rye over Bulliet Rye.

Drinking Buffalo Trace right now. Forgot how harsh it tastes compared to others, but for the price, it is great! Unlike Stranahan's.

That's funny because I like BT because it's very smooth and mellow to me. I wouldn't drink Stranahan's if it was free.

I liked Stranahan's but my bottle was a gift, when I saw the price I went straight back to BT. BT tastes like Bourbon should.

-how does Breckenridge Bourbon compare to the various other brands being discussed here? I seem to recall someone posting a few promotional video's for it a while back that were amusing.

Breckenridge tastes damn good in my opinion and compares well. If you all want to try something good take a look at Peach Street Distillers out of Palisade, they make a good bourbon, and not to change the subject but kick ass agave also ;-)

So I see a lot of people recommending Buffalo Trace ... how would a Maker's Mark drinker like it? 'Cause my wife is going through "The Change" and I really can't afford to drink Maker's Mark at the rate I've been drinking it lately.
