Looking for something special for the holidays. My alcohol monger recommended Woodford Reserve. I like my AM's taste. Plus his shop had it on sale for close to half off.

Lots of corn. The second line is rye and the third is malted barely.

Got some fireside for christmas. Good enoigh for me and I like it better than the makers mark we drank christmas eve. The fireside is a bit rough, so I've been adding 1-2 drops of bitters.

Ohhh Fireside stay away from that sh!t. A friend gave me a bottle, said it was comparable to Breckendridge...not even close@*!&!^%!
Spend the cash, I think Fireside was $18, and get your yourself a good bottle.
Hell Buffalo Trace is a good bang for the buck too, especially for Bourbon smashes, my favorite drink of late.

No really. I like Fireside.

As much as bourbon/whiskey is the same, there are a lot of differences. Hype aside, I'll sit down with a tumbler of Old Crow or Ten High just as often as Buffalo Trace or Fireside. Depends on my mood.
