same with fire trucks, ambos, and CDOT vehicles. I think most people don't slow down because the don't know what it's like to stand next to traffic passing at 80MPH. It's not fun, especially under inclement weather.

It's a ticket that cops should write more often. Only way people will change their ways. People don't give a rat's ass about the cop's safety, but they may care about their wallet taking a hit.

100% agree but unfortunately they are usually pre-occupied when it happens. I have seen them do it a couple times and its gratifying.

Yeah what I've seen is one cop will be on a stop and then another cop will come and hang out up in front of the car that is stopped. That cop then watches the cars coming down the highway. Then when some asshole burns the back of the cops trousers off that is talking to the stopped car the one up ahead can jam them up. I agree it's gratifying!
