I imagine cat clearances can really vary depending on how hard you throw them. That's probably why they invented feeler gauges.

Depends on the cat Ray, Siamese you have to divide by half for correction.
Russian Blues always work but are sloppy.
Persians always go sideways.
Maine Coons tend to run a bit large.
Sphinx are an engineering marvel.
Bengals are purrfection.
