    Default new Sigma

well, sorta.. bought 1/2 of one...

GM had a sale and they're $250 after $50 rebate.. you also get 2 hi-cap mags from S&W..

your choice of 9mm or .40sw

I got the 9mm.. this is a Christmas gift for my daughter, so shhhhh don't say anything!

oh.. GM sold out quick at that sale price.. I'm about 12th on the list.. they should have 'em all in before the end of the year. (well, depends on how many order/lay-a-way one.)

an auto for that price is hard to beat.. I've done a little bit of reading.. they're not that bad.. early models had their issues... they're supposed to be ok now.... anyway.. dad can't afford a sig or hk so, this'll have to do.. I think it'll do well for a 'starter' 9mm that'll do well for HD. My main goal is to get her putting rounds down range for IDPA so she'll have some practical means of defending herself for the rest of her life.

sorry, no pics... it's not in my hands yet, and technically, I haven't "officially" bought it

My first firearm was a Sigma

Bought a .40 two tone from Firing Line on May 21st of this year...put probably 600 rds through it in 2 months before selling it in August at the Tanner Show....

I wasn't aware that S&W was still offering the Sigma. I was under the impression that they had "switched" that model over to their M&P.

You got a great price on that gun, Congrats!

If You think She could handle the .40, I have and older SW40VE That I might be willing to part with. Let me know.
