What should I throw in my bag?

So, thought I would throw some stuff into my favorite backpack and keep it handy around the 21st of this month. Just in case.

I'm not really the "prepper" type so I just planned on throwing in most of the stuff I usually take camping- a couple of knives, some fire starting stuff, some paracord, a small first aid kit, a bottle of water or two, energy bars, and some spare magazines and ammunition.

Is there anything else I should consider throwing in there?

Damn, should have brought it up when we were at CRC. I had mine in the back of the truck. It's kind of a all-in-one bag and I carry it in case I have to walk home from any of the various events I go to all over the place. Many of them, like fly fishing in the mountains, would be quite a walk. So, this might be bigger than you might want but it will give you some ideas.

One really long brown cotton scarf (wore it around my neck in Iraq), works great for at least a dozen things.
Leather gloves
Two military ponchos
One Woobie

I carry cold weather gear, gators, and an italian wool blanket in the truck too.
