    Aiden welcome. Where were you in Alaska? I was stationed at Eielson AFB from 87 to 92. Loved every minute of it. Would still be there if Uncle Sam would have left me be.

    I was at Elmendorf (Anchorage), great place to live if you love the outdoors.

    lol, not Eskimo here...mostly Irish, but it was a great place to live. I will miss the aurora borealis...

    Welcome! Did two trips to Alaska with the Coast Guard, back in the 70's, never saw the Aurora, (cloudy all 4 months I was there) but lost radio communications regularly due to interference!

    LOTS more sun here.
