Shoot that is a good price. At that price if everyone still pitches in $20 we could do a little round up program...

    Lol you guys.

This country at one point and time was a great thing, and it's turning into a wretched thing, just like the rest of most of the world. You guys really think that things are going to start improving again with a 2 party system that actually resembles more of a 1 party system than anything else? This country was great and its turning into crap. We are straying away from what this country was founded upon. And I fear it's already to late to change that course. I stand corrected that the ENTIRE USA is not wretched yet... Certain parts are and the rest will follow sooner rather than later, so really whats the difference?

It'll take more than a few hundred dollars and a bus ticket... more like my own private island in the middle of nowhere. I'm already saving for it so no need for handouts.

The above is what I ment so I'll edit the post accordingly. It seems that you guys care less about the fact that the goverment can throw you around like a rag doll for no reason than my opinion of where this country is heading.

make no mistake.. it wasn't any "handout" it was an escort out of the country.

Fight for your country, don't be a coward and run away like you're eluding to!

Our country wasn't founded by cowards, it was founded by men who cared and took a stand for what they believed in. They made sure there were provisions to protect the people of this country by drawing up a Constitution and Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights, is a basicly a set of rules for the government to abide by, it doesn't give us any rights (those were given by God). We need to fight our oppressors, not run from them.

(did you do your mandatory CO-AR15 homework?)

If you think that there is nothing left to fight for, please excuse yourself from this site!

and if you want out of the country so bad, we'll get you out of here ASAP on the first bus to Mexico or Canada where you can live your little crack pipe dream (if you think life is better anywhere else).

So how do you suggest we "fight" for our country?

We can't truly "fight" seeing as we'd be outgunned and outnumbered. Plus that’s the kind of stuff that'll land you in jail for treason.

Yes I did the homework, and as far as I can see the government is not abiding by the bill of rights. How can you fight that through politics?

Giving your money away to organizations? If that’s what it's all come to, than not much is left.
And where else in the world is there to go other than some random island in the middle of no where, which would take considerable cash to make livable.

Really I only see a few options
#1 save up money and leave
#2 stay and hope things dont degrade before you die
#3 You like the way things are going, so you stay

I mean what can average joe do to keep his country from being hijacked by power hungry politicians? If you have any better options than the above let me know.

There are far more armed people in this country than there are in the military. We wouldn't be outgunned. Besides, it's a volunteer Army and they won't fight their own people. The Founding Fathers figured we would have revolutions fairly often. There's one brewing as more people expect handouts from the government with fewer people working and having the fruits of their labor being taken from them. Change is coming, you just have to know when is the right time. Until then, keep your powder dry.
