Well I've said this to you specifically before.. what have YOU done for your country? You pass youthful judgment without the benefit of any real experience or wisdom.

You expect that the country will simply conform to your perception of what it is supposed to be, yet you have done nothing... NO THING to serve or help your country save go after some kids with paint balls or run your mouth about things you truly have yet to grasp or comprehend.

How about this, Lead, Follow or get out of the way! Go join the military, LE or government in some other form. Work from the inside maybe? Run for city council, hell run for the school board. Rather than sit there like a helpless child maybe you could actually do something besides rant on the errornet.

Yes I did the homework, and as far as I can see the government is not abiding by the bill of rights. How can you fight that through politics?

Giving your money away to organizations? If that’s what it's all come to, than not much is left.
And where else in the world is there to go other than some random island in the middle of no where, which would take considerable cash to make livable.

Really I only see a few options
#1 save up money and leave
#2 stay and hope things dont degrade before you die
#3 You like the way things are going, so you stay

I mean what can average joe do to keep his country from being hijacked by power hungry politicians? If you have any better options than the above let me know.
Who do you think would actually stop us? Most of the people who are against people like us dont like guns and wouldnt know how to use em anyways....How many of our military do you think would back up a corrupt government that is trying to oppress its own people? Most of them would leave to join our cause with thier weapons and supplies no doubt. I think alot of law enforcement would as well...not all but some are good people who care about our country and BELEIVE in their oath to defend against enemies both foreign and DOMESTIC, ie our government if it came to that. The 2nd amendment was put in place primarily for that reason, to defend against a tyranical government...like the others said if you want to be a coward, get out now....Personally i'll die before my guns are taken from me.

Well my goal is to go work for the government Badshot, but having a college degree is a requirement. Currently getting it in Political Science and than I’m going for an masters in International Affairs. On the note of what I'm doing now? I'm working for the local PD 60 hours a week while going to school. Sadly most of my class mates are all working to become lairs(lawyers) in a corrupt system.

So I'm doing my part to "fight" for this country at least I'm trying. But I'll have to climb a long and hard ladder before I can do anything major about the way this country is running.

And as to what would stop us... well I really cant predict the way things would go, if the military and PD's were on our side I doubt that would be a problem. But if we were there standing with semi auto's and the government is in abrams/bradleys I don’t think there would be much we could do about it.
I mean the military guy may believe in the cause of keeping the government straight but what would happen to him if they good guys lost? He'd be court marshaled and killed for treason. The fear may just keep many soldiers on the wrong side of things if it came down to that.

At the end of the day I would never take a law-abiding citizen’s weapons away, and I would stand in the way of my colleagues that would, but at this point that’s all I could ever do.

Well than what can I do NOW thats non-violent and will help the situation keep from degrading? I can understand you not wanting to post all the info in the open for all to see. If you want let me know privatly, because I just hate sitting here doing nothing watching things degrade.
