    Default Advice Please

I have the opportunity to obtain a Charles Daly O/U 12 ga built in Japan. I need to find an expert to give me a fair value on it and how much he would charge to fit it to me (I’m left handed and the "cast" is way off.) If anybody knows somebody they trust I would appreciate their name and phone number.
    Thanks

The ones built in Japan late 60's/early 70's aren't bad at all.

Jim Jameison the gun fitter, he's overpriced, but he does nice work. Call Colorado clays, he usually has his trailer there and Colo Clays can put you in touch with the guy.

It's ok to fix the cast, I'm not sure how they are going to fix the palm swell. We finally gave up and just bought a left handed Browning for the wife and then had it fitted to her.

Good to know. All the CD stuff I have seen in the past has been total junk.

you're mostly right, that's for sure, you just have get that small little bit of CD stuff that is
    a. 30 years old
    b. built in Japan
    c. not seriously overpriced.

I surely wouldn't be collecting it, but hey, if someone gave it to me....

Plus, even if it was one of the newer junky CD's, can you say "truck gun"

What would you consider "seriously overpriced" in 75% condition?

75% NRA condition is a beat POS, I'm sure that's not what you mean.
