well they filed for a continuance because their lawyer couldnt make it today.....but they couldnt even tell the judge the lawyers name, not even the parents could remember the lawyers name. they had to call the mom's sister to find out the lawyers name. they said that they were in the process of retaining the lawyer, some guy named robos. AND the judge granted them the continuance because quote "this court would be in error to deny someone counsel"..... i was seeing red before i left.

Car windows can sometimes be very difficult to break. I tried to break one with an ASP collapsible steel baton once...bent the baton. Then a wiser and older officer showed my how to use the knob on the end. He poked a hole right in the window and it was much easier to break after that.

Deal with car windows is that, as long as it is fully surrounded by the door frame, it's very strong. If the window is rolled down partially, or its a convertible, then it is much easier to smash, because one end of the window can flex more, which it won't support.

I once shattered my driver side window with my elbow while I was driving. It was rolled all the way up AND tinted. It was from the inside though, so I think it doesn't count.
