    Did anyone else take the FE/PE exam this past weekend?

    Took it six years ago.

    You'll be glad you did. It's a minor credential, but a good one.

    Took the FE in 95 and the PE in 07. I don't really use it much, but it has opened some doors that would not have been otherwise available.

    Took the FE years ago. But I didn't end up in engineering so I haven't taken the PE.

    Passed my exam today!

    Now I get to take my Electrical PE in April!

    You can take your electrical PE without acruing X number of years experience? For Mechs, we have to get 4 years of work under a PE before we can apply.
