Default WTF was that (on the road this morning)?!?!

OK, I don't know how many of you live/work in the Denver Metro, but this morning's commute was EPIC retardery.

Seriously, what was there, 1/2 an inch of snow? Yes, it was a little cold, but why the hell did it take me two hours to get from Longmont to Lodo? (Usually 45 min)

I already dislike my job enough that the commute is painful every day, but how hard is it to remember how to drive from one winter to the next? (On that last point, apparently pretty hard, because even people in Minnesota couldn't remember when I lived there, and they get all kinds of practice)

Though, I don't envy the commuter rail folks who stood at the station waiting two hours for the next train due to some accident.

From your title I thought maybe you saw Bigfoot on the road. I was ready to call the BFRO

It's all those Kaleefornicans that moved here. Or the French.

The solid form of stupidity looks identical to snow. Thus, what you saw on the roads this morning was actually hyperconcentrated stupidity. Mystery solved.

On another note, I'm personally calling all of the local weather guessers to tell them that they are FUCKING FIRED!!!!

At least you know what's causing it...down where I am, the stupidity is ALWAYS bad like you're mentioning, but no real indicator.

I feel your pain- Evergreen is full of those goddamn transplants... My commute is usually around 8-10 min, nope, 18 this morning, and I got cut off, twice! Encountered 3 people driving and talking on their phone who obviously can't do both (probably can't drive to begin with, but benefit of the doubt).

But in all seriousness, it would seem once the snow falls so do a lot of people's ability to drive.

My 15m commute took about 1h15m.. and the roads weren't bad.. but stupidity has no cure. As bad as traffic has been lately w/o the snow.. I knew this would be horrid.
