Default Out of the Army, but back to ARs

Hello, just wanted to introduce myself. I recently seperated from the US Army after 8 years of service, ending in the 101st Airborne with 27 months in Iraq.

I found after not shooting for over a year I really missed my M4, so I sought an acceptable civilian substitute. I went with an LMT Defender 2000 in 16" trim with a SOPMOD stock.

So far she's been amazing! Much better than my issued Colt. I've got about 1k rounds through her so far, and I've found she'll hold 10 rounds in a 2" circle from 100 yards with a 3 MOA red dot. I love her!!!

I am looking to get a suppressor (NFA nightmare I am willing to tackle to preserve what little hearing I left the Army with). I am looking for a good Class III dealer who would be willing to work with me and not charge an arm and a leg for the transfer.

I hope to meet some good people here, and maybe go shooting with some someday!

    Cheers! -Wes

    Welcome Wes....

Not sure if you are talking about the $200 Tax you are referring to in the above quote, but dealers cant adjust that unless they adjust the price of the item.... that fee goes to the gubment. Otherwise.... have a "blast"..... or dont, as the case soon will be

OTOH if u find a dealer with something in stock, then you wont have to pay to transfer it.

    Welcome.

As for a C3 dealer give Alan a call he does not charge anything for a transfer if you buy the can from him. He has several cans in stock most of the time.

    YO! Wes!
