    Default RPD quality

Does anyone have a RPD out there? Are they pretty cool to shoot? Any issues? I am looking at a DSA build (no skills to put together a kit) Any thoughts?

    Thanks

As long as you're blowing the bucks get a PKM. http://www.vltor.com/projects.htm

An RPK is a more affordable and pretty cool item.

I've shot them a few times. Bravo arms in CS has one, Polish. They're fun to shoot but RPK's are vastly more reliable.

I'm not sure if this is true but I had heard somewhere that the RPD is pretty much discontinued and they use the RPK as a their LMG now.

Yah, the RPK looks cool but it's like 2x the cost. Would be nice but don't have those bucks!

Yes ,they are discontinued, but some of the low level troops still have them in their armorys like the home guard-their reservists and national guard..
Kinda like how we still have some of the old .60's and .50's stashed

the rpk is even discontinued lol they (refering to russia and the ukraine) use the rpk-74m or the pkm and pkp for some special units, poland mainly uses their beryl LMG model and rpk's

anyway i've hear those dsa rpd's are pretty decent but they better be for their cost
