    Default Skyped guitar lessons...

Two of my co-workers have asked me for guitar lessons (I'm by no means a virtuoso - just self-taught, and can play decently) and I'm thinking I'm going to end up doing it via Skype. Not sure exactly about the timing yet, but if there's any interested guitar newbies out there, PM me, and I'll let you know when/if I decide to do it. You'd be welcome to tune in (free - I'm not trying to make money here - just passing on my love of music.) when we get started. Again, I'm not professional by any means, and I still can't read music. But I can get people to a point where they're playing well, familiar with the chords, and able to progress on their own from there.

    Let me know...
My daughter just got a guitar.
Had her signed up for private lessons, and the teacher flaked after one lesson.

What a great idea! I've been wanting to learn for a long time, even have a guitar sitting here, but I just can't find the time to go take lessons. This could be a money-maker for you if you wanted it to be.

Dingo, if you ever want to learn to actually read music instead of just TAB, let me know. It's really easy once you understand the basics.... Reading music will also allow you to understand the theory behind the chords and could open up a whole new level in your personal pursuit as well.
