Unbelievable. Dont blame the person, blame the gun.
This should be fun...
What does Marsha have against guns?
Progressive ideology, ideas so good they must be mandatory.
Your freedom to be you includes my freedom to be free from you.
I wonder if anyone from the Brady Bunch would like to comment on the fact that the case they're using as basis for this suit occurred in an area boasting some of the most stringent gun-control laws in the country. If gun-control works, how could anyone ever possibly be "gunned down" in Chicago? No comment? I didn't think so.
The suit was filed on behalf of Alex Vesely of Cook County, Ill. His sister, 36-year-old Jitka, was gunned down in the parking lot of a Chicago-area museum last year by a former boyfriend, Dmitry Smirnov of Canada, who shot her a dozen times then turned himself into police and later pleaded guilty.

More stupid shit. Armslist didn't sell the gun to the wacko. There will always be some dumbass or scumbag who will sell to someone they shouldn't.
More lawsuits to come.
Another step on the path...
standard procedure. sue everyone in sight. none of them will stick but all of them have to spend time and money on defense.
This will be thrown out almost immediately for more reasons than I can count. First and foremost is that they are publishers and not editors. Secondly buying firearms across state lines is perfectly legal - go to an FFL and do the transfer like the GCA (and armslist) tells us to do. They are just trying to burn armslist's cash down. Notice they didn't try this with gunbroker - and for good reason since gunbroker is flush with cash.
What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?
