Does it really matter? We have Obama on the verge of being sworn in for a second term and he's bringing his entire agenda with him this time. It wasn't Romney's fault for not being conservative enough. It wasn't my fault for encouraging others to vote Republican. It wasn't bryjcom's fault for advocating for a Libertarian. We're reaping what we've sown for the last 50 years. Times they are a changin'.

The real problem is the Democrats are far better at this game than conservatives. This argument we're having mirrors life. Democrats are masters at class warfare and social division and they've forced conservatives over and over to play their game by their rules. Conservatives keep trying to do that and continue to get their asses handed to them.

Conservatives are heartless, racist, extreme and hate women and the poor. How do you win when half the country believes that before you even open your mouth?

I dislike liberals as much as the next guy. But the simple truth is they brought their starters and they played to win. They ran the score up and then threw it in our faces and laughed at us while we were complaining about their lack of "sportsmanship".

Pissing and moaning and talking about blame isn't going to change the score.

I Blame everyone. All of the special little snowflakes clinging to handouts, rattling sabers and sitting on the sofa. all of the -Americans, the D's, the R's and the I's. We are so stupid that we park ourselves in front of the television day after day and swallow the lies and diversity day after day without question. We have accepted the 2 party system, the media, the debt and ballooning corruption that is the "Federal government of the few, funded by the many"
Stop pointing at the ones you do not like and accept that the system has been rigged against you. you no longer have a real say. You have a theater of opinion in which you cast a ballot for a politician that is going to arrive at the same place regardless of who won. The country was lost long ago without a shot fired, we now live in a lie of what was supposed to be.
So when you want someone to blame, Blame your father and his father before him. Blame the system that is, blame yourself for not rising against it.

None are so hopelessly enslaved, as those who falsely believe they are free. The truth has been kept from the depth of their minds by masters who rule them with lies. They feed them on falsehoods till wrong looks like right in their eyes.

Me voting for someone nationally had nothing to do with my votes in state politics...Since gun control is on the front burner in the state, not nationally, AND the guy who I didn't vote against would have won even even if everyone who voted like me would have voted AGAINST him. I fail to see the point of your rant Jim.

You're blaming people for not voting against the most likely to win worst of 10 evils.

The blame lies on a party that betrayed it's core principle...conservatism, to appeal to a "wider" section of the electorate with a progressive candidate. The blame does NOT lie on those who noticed the betrayal and would not fall into lock-step behind a progressive conservative.

Truth is this is not the result of some misguided Repubblican vote.
Truth is we are a country of suckers that still believe the politicians are there to do our best interest.
We are a country that was shocked that Bill Clinton lied to the nation whene he finally managed to get is dick sucked by something vaguely resembling a human being.
"He lied to us under oath!" DUH! He's a fucking politician!
This is the result of generations of people being thaught that they should feel guilty about slavery.
So now, like the menopausal cow that lives next door to me, they wanted to "give a black guy a chance".
Well, bend over if you want to give him a chance, see how well it works.
Oh, wait, we all bent over.
We bent over when we allowed our kids being taught that we ought to be ashamed of having had slaves 300 years ago.
Well, guess what, slavery has been practiced since the beginning of time, by ALL races.
You lose a war, you become a slave.
You get colonized, you become a slave.
You have no unity in you country, someone will come and make you his slave, one by one.
After the slave emancipation in the US the whole country of Liberia weas given to black ex-slaves to give them a homeland.
What is the first thing they did?
    They got their own slaves!
Look it up if you don't believe me.
But this is conveniently not being taught in our school: all is being taught is that white people made black people their slaves and we shall forever feel guilty about it.
The Democrats used Obama and our guilt trips to get back in power.
Yeah, give a black man a chance: that worked out well...
And, Mods, don't give me the whole racist bullshit:I am not talking anbout a race being better than another.
    I am talking facts.
    Rant over.

I posted / Ranted because i read all the Hickenpooper says Gun Control. To be surprised or shocked, a state or nation wide call for more CONTROL especially in the gun community is ridiculous . WE the people knew if O stayed in office, IF the dems took CO / Went darker Blue there would be a fight. All the hand wringing OH MY GOD HicK wants tougher laws is bullshit. Everyone needs to stop whining, complaining etc and focus that energy on letters, ph calls PUBLIC ORGANIZED (Peaceful) Protest and let the CO representatives know WE will not stand for it. It's an up hill fight, however if we sit idle and blame each other good by guns we have owned or own.

More taxes, more regulations, less freedom. That is what we're going to see. If you think life is hard now just wait.

This is the most ridiculous thing I've heard in a while... I thought when a 3 parties ran, you were supposed to blame the party with the smallest percentage of the vote for the others failures??

I'm so glad SOMEONE ELSE understands the nature of politicians.

I guess you're talking about posters like me. In the months leading up to the election I often said I would almost rather see the left win so we can crash this plane faster. Even though I couldn't force myself to vote for Obummer, or not vote at all, (I voted for that clown Romney because he had the best chance) I am fully prepared and expecting a violent revolution. We are too far gone for diplomacy. I hope I'm wrong, I just don't think I am.
