Anyone even contemplating a "worst case scenario" needs to watch something like The Patriot again for a tiny hint of the horror you're advocating and reassess exactly where/when it was you lost your freakin' mind.

I hate to further derail this Jim, but Honey Badgers ignorance is driving me nuts.

Molon Labe is the Army SOCCENT motto, it was the motto or slogan used for the Texas Revolution, and I'm pretty sure its on the Greek military uniform as well. So regardless of your interpretation of it, you are wrong.

It is a defiant, rebellious, violence inciting motto. I have nothing against it, I have t-shirts that say it as well as other things, but you are a hypocrite.

Molon Labe is loosely translated to "come and take them".

It was made popular because it is what was reported that King Leonidas said this to Xerxes at The Battle of Thermopylae. It is a classical expression of defiance of rule. Its core IS violence.

What the ffuuuuuuck? Isn't that exactly what I just said? Let me quote above, since you seem to struggle with reading comprehension:

I said "literally" because it refers to the actual event that I'm going to hold my ground, should someone decided to try to "come and take [my guns]". (As a side note, I used the word "literally" absolutely literally, in the true sense of the word. Of course it is "loosely translated"... there is no exact translation from Greek to English.) This is exactly what King Leonidas was rumored to have said and meant at the battle of Thermopylae (the actual event, not the fictional story depicted in the movie 300). When the aggressor Xerxes allegedly demanded the Spartans' surrender, King Leonidas replied (again, allegedly) that Xerxes would have to come and take their weapons because they were going to stand their ground. This is exactly what I mean in my sig. I do not mean, in any way, that I'm going to start a violent revolution. Certainly King Leonidas was not intending to start a violent revolution either. He said he would stand his ground and not surrender. I think it is a good philosophy, so I put it in my sig. Unless you have something intelligent to add to this, please do not respond. (<--edit: just in case you didn't see it the first time, NMB2) I was an English major with a minor in Military History.

Defiant? Yes. Rebellious? Yes. Violence inciting?

Keep digging your hole...the more you try and justify your hatred of Badger the more I imagine you sound like an adult from Charlie Brown.

I held my nose, took some pepto and voted for Romney. BUT the fact remains that the republican party at this point may as well be the UK's "conservative" party, its controlled by a bunch of ineffectual pseudo liberals. Their continual efforts to thwart the Liberty and Tea party movements has led to their own downfall. This coupled with massive liberal voter fraud has led to the current state of affairs and things will only get worse, because the neo-cons in control of the party at their core have many of the same agendas as their liberal counterparts (ie. more power over the citizenry). If some of you cant see this its because you simply don't want to.

I might have reading comprehension issues. After all, I'm not an English major like you. Just a history major.

If a policing force, armed combatant, or military force tells you to put down your weapons, and you reply with "COME AND TAKE THEM!"..... that will not incite violence? Get the fuck out of here.
