Are you looking for someone to do the work or do you just need access to a welder? I've got a 120v Hobart wirefeed you can use but as a rule, I don't do welding for people I don't know that well (liability). Given how long it's been since I've done any serious welding, you likely don't want me splattering booger welds all over your Jeep anyways.![]()
I've pushed it to 1/4" for non-structural and 3/16" for something that needed strength. It did the Ford 8.8" and fullsize D44 swap on my old CJ-7 without any trouble. Are you just adding some light tabs to the rack or something?
Bring it to Denver and I can help you out.
Try this guy. You'll need to PM him.

thanks but im looking for some one to do the job and i pay, not too much but pay for the work no more than the price of the rack lol, i have not experience welding, the mod that i need is simple, let me explain you. I bought and install from warrior the "Adventure Rack" and this rack comes with 2 areas in the side to carry gas cans but is made specified for original Jerry cans, i already bought 3 different cans but wont fit in the area. The only that i need to do to my cans fit is remove an edge (i can do it for with my grinder) and welding a maybe 2 inch of the same metal for extend the platform. Because my english is not the best i include here a picture with the idea.
this is the rack:
