I get what Stevelkinevil says- I really do. I'm referring to younger people I guess. I think the mass murder and mass killing video games desensitize them to such mass violence.
I completely disagree with this as I did with music being blamed for suicides. I play all of those games and I am not exactly young but not old either, I still have not been desensitized nor has anyone I know or play with. I guess it really depends on the game as well, but my view on that and the music topic is it is an excuse for having a weak and easy influenced mind. I on the other hand do not disagree that they are designed to do so right along with TV and useless violence in movies.Originally Posted by sneakerd

One guy said back on page 18 that he plays violent video games to relieve his frustrations... Why doesn't he just play guitar hero or go outside and excercise.... some of the things said on here can be construde as bullshit fodder for the tards out there....
That was me, on the previous page. As well as a couple other members. We play violent video games, and we don't take our firearms and go shooting people. The video games are the outlet.
Seriously, what do you view as the greater challenge? A high score on Freebird, or a high score rescuing hostages from terrorists?
If you were referring to me. I didn't say I play violent games exclusively. I play all kinds. Sims 3, Guitar Hero and others like Mario Bros. But I find them childish and easy to beat.

I blame lack of Father, Grandfather, Responsible Adult Male figures in their lives. Lack of proper instruction, training of firearms and their purpose by said Father figures.
