That was me, on the previous page. As well as a couple other members. We play violent video games, and we don't take our firearms and go shooting people. The video games are the outlet.

Seriously, what do you view as the greater challenge? A high score on Freebird, or a high score rescuing hostages from terrorists?

I strongly support patient/Dr. privilege. WITH THAT BEING SAID When prior .mil (read: anglos) are considered to have the potential for "domestic terrorism" association with hate groups (words of the .gov) and want America to "keep an eye out" YET blatantly ignore things when the treating physician is more concerned about their own reputation and do nothing, we have a serious problem.
The psyc for the movie shooter NEVER followed up with LE regarding the status of her patient. In cases of public safety to one self or the general public the Physician is covered regarding client privilege. After all, if one of us were to tell a Dr. I XXX society, the swat team would be at our house before we got home from the doc's.

I think you are high. I understand the theory that the video games cause people to be desensitized to killing by repeatedly doing so in a game. But here is the thing. I hang out with quite a few gun owners who play these FPS games and they are not going to go on a shooting rampage. And if playing a game is going to desensitize you, doing the real thing and actually shooting people and killing people should make you a heartless killer well beyond what a game does to your mental well being. I hang out with people who have a high body counts on a regular basis. And not in some game but in real life. They own guns. They have killed people in real life. They are not likely to go on some shooting rampage.

I suggest that we outlaw black military gear, including load bearing vests, and mental illness.

So what do you do when your Liberal anti-gun doctor thinks you're a nutjob since you go deer hunting or shooting at the range on your day off?

Same thing you do whenever you disagree with your doctor. You get a second opinion.

Never had video games, never had time for them. Too much outdoors to see.
Cars to build bikes to build, etc.
Life is short if you sit on your ass playing games all day it's even shorter.

I completely agree. There is no cure-all to madness. My only point was to say that there is a small group within the population that is indeed affected by violence. To deny that is foolish. There are some here that say "well it doesn't affect me so it shouldn't affect anyone else."

And then we have the wonderful media, they sensationalize the event. Crazies identify with the perp and want to exceed his actions.
What he wore what he carried how he lived, blah blah.
And they cannot let the victims rest in peace they have to remind you about Columbine, Platte canyon, and so on.

If you are a nut job you relish in this attention.

    Outlaw insanity.
