As far as I am concerned they are just people trying to do a tough job. I have -0- problem with TSA, never have had any problem following direction at an airport, and empathize with the fact that they most likely hate doing what they have to do. A job is a job these days. If you've got one that pays decently, you keep doing it, because the grass is not greener on the other side.

You have no problem with an agency that has never actually done what it says it's supposed to do (catch terrorists)? You have no problem with young children being groped and refusing to allow the parents to come over and comfort their upset child? You have no problems with accosting a young woman who has an insulin pump as if she is a terrorist trying to hijack the plane to fly it directly into the president's asshole?

Then you don't deal with them enough. For most of the TSA folk they are *not* trying to do a job. They are trying to coast along and do the minimum possible. They take out their frustrations on travelers. I've seen it sooooooo many times.
