I went through background check this morning. The store called in very shortly after 9am, and it took two hours 40 minutes to get the call answered.

Fortunately, I was standing there at the counter (having come back and was just waiting around) when they did, because the staff had mis-written my DL number.

In and out in less than three hours...

My local gun shop says 1960 applications in que and approximately a 6 hour 40 minute wait (add 30% to that). Are there any semi-auto anythings on the shelves?

Pawn shops still have some great deals. I found a browning high power on colfax for under $500 OTD, AR-15 on hampden and chamber for under $800 (upgraded stock/rail etc).

Guess I need to head over to the hood. Pawn stores in Littleton have Bushys for same or more then retail.

I heard on the news (I think) that about 4000 forms were submitted on Saturday alone

Let's say that the average purchase is $750. Just a guess. That means that roughly $3 Million was spent on Firearms in Colorado on Saturday.
