    Default Adapter?

I bought an Eotech XPS2-RF with the intentions of putting it on an MP15-22. Not reading all the 'fine print' I found out the hard way that it isn't a Weaver rail mount.
Integrated 3/8" dovetail mount (not compatible with 1"Weaver or 1913 rails

So I was hoping that there might be some type of adapter to marry the two. Otherwise I guess I will try and sell it. Really hoping to make it work though so if you have any thoughts I'd like to hear them.

Pics and links because I'm not too smart.

My only thought would be some sort of riser. I have a larue riser for my xps. It would tighten onto the mp15-22 top rail, but it needed more adjusting. Hopefully that helps. Maybe something like this?

edit: sorry, i can't read. i'll keep an eye out for another solution...

There's a man who leads a life of danger.
To everyone he meets he stays a stranger.
With every move he makes, another chance he takes.
Odds are he won't live to see tomorrow.
