    Default Eff the TSA

I had the pleasure of watching my wife get molested by a TSA agent yesterday at COS. It made my blood boil. She set off the alarm because she is diabetic and has an insulin pump. You would think a normal human being would realize that no, my wife is not a terrorist, just a citizen trying to fly to visit family, and that the insulin pump is probably what set off the detector. But, I have now realized that people who work for the TSA are not normal. They are the lowest fucking form of human life. Fuck the TSA, and even more, fuck everyone who works there. I would starve to death before I worked for a fucking thug operation like the TSA.

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.

The TSA is an excellent example of a well intentioned, well-thought out government program that was fucked from the word go.

They pay decently, which means the guberment agency was completely iunudated with demands to hire not the best people for the job, but "equally"
Their training is at best, laughable, and there is a lot of truth to the statement they are given more training about how to work the system and keep thier jobs than how to properly perform thier jobs
The worst part is they know they are ineffectual, and thier job has no meaning beyond harrassment and that they are resented, so few if any give a rats ass about actually doing a good job.

I have nothing but contempt for the entire organization and everyone employed there.

While I'm not the biggest fan of the TSA (They managed to break a $120 bow case that can survive a 40 foot fall) I do believe there are a FEW that actually do care. A few...

I'm sure there are a few. But how can they overcome the moral dilemma of working for an organization whose sole purpose is to treat every Amerikan citizen as a terrorist, guilty until probed, prodded, groped, and proved otherwise? I hate the TSA, but when I say my wife was molested, I am not exaggerating. Right in front of everyone going through security. And when we ask if the shakedown is really necessary, we get get some bitchy remark about safety, spoken in a tone that says how dare we question the procedures put in place.

I suspect that the problem with many TSA agents is the low barrier to entry: it's not all that difficult to become a TSA agent, which means we get the dregs of society, pulling a power trip because they now have a badge. If you dare question their authority, you will very likely miss your flight....or worse.
