I'm facing a dilemma that I haven't been able to work out by myself, so I'm hoping to get some feedback/insight from the group that may sway me in one direction or the other...

I’m currently working on my next build out, which is most likely going to be a .308 (may go .260 or 6.5 Creedmoor, haven’t decided yet) with a MATEN monolithic railed upper (rifle length). The big decision at the moment is whether or not to Cerakote the upper/lower in FDE or to leave it as black. I’m a huge fan of FDE rifles, and have my Stag built out that way (two-tone), but the MATEN monolithic uppers are a victim of the patent wars and gone forever from production, so I’m concerned about impacting the overall (long-term) value of the weapon.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
