It is always appreciated when you pick up after your self.
If the brass is in good shape, you can reload or sell, which ever seems better to you.
Be safe.

I always pick mine up (plus alot of others) I just wanted to know if it was worth saving. most that is not mine is crunched. Can that still be sold? I mean how much can you get of say a 5 gal bucket of crunched brass?
Thanks

Take it to metal recyclers, you would be surprised at the scrap brass prices.
My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.
Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one, and it stinks more than mine.

This. They give brass credits, which I think its currently up to $2.50/lb. But, you have to ship it to them, and in a USPS flat rate that costs about $14. But, if you pack it full I think it'll hold about 20lbs of brass.
I always pick up my brass just to keep the range clean. I know for a fact that my range picks up brass and then sells it, so since they didn't pay me for it, I'm not letting them profit off of it. I have several thousand rounds of .223, several thousand of .40 and am starting to gain a collection of 9mm and .380. I don't reload but if my fiancee starts shooting more, I might be able to justify the cost to her.
